I am running in Vista.Widelands is a real-time strategy video game and a really great remake of one of my all time favourite game series The Settlers/Die Siedler, which was initially released in 1993. Youre really a ruler: You delegate in times of war and in times of peace Widelands offers single-player mode with different campaigns the campaigns all tell storys of tribes or Empires and their struggle in the Widelands universe However, settling really starts when you unite with friends over the Internet or LAN to build up new empires. There was a bug with running the game in 1280x1024x32, it was like the game was being rendered 4 times in each quarter. Widelands takes many ideas from and is quite similar to The Settlers and The Settlers II.

Widelands takes many ideas from and is quite similar to The Settlers and The Settlers II.It is still a work in progress game, with development still required in graphics and bugfixing. Maybe we could add a little X as a close button, but how can we teach players to use the right mouse button for more efficient window closing? In summary, your feedback sounds to me like we could do much better in guiding new players, e.g. Open source development sucks sometimes when stuff can't be decided easily based on technical merit. I remember bringing this up some time ago, and some of the other developers were against it. * In relation to the dialogs, could the left, right and bottom borders be thinner? Widelands currently has close to 6000 revisions, small or large, which together forms one awesome game.
